3 Blind Mice
Happy Halloween! We've already dressed up twice and it isn't even the 31st yet! We are so grateful our sister-in law sent us this little mouse costume (which fit perfectly). We decided that since we are three- we should be the three blind mice! We had a lot of fun at the Burch's Halloween party and at our ward Trunk or Treat. Luckily it was cool this weekend- finally, so we weren't sweating in our costumes :)
Best Friend's Visit!

This is the cutest picture EVER!! Ada is smiling a lot more now, but this is the best picture of her smile we have gotten so far- and no wonder she is smile at Danielle- she makes everyone happy!
Just relaxing.

We went on a girl adventure and all three of us rode the trolly.
We had fun:
-trying a great Gluten Free pizza place
-watching Project Runway with friends and Gluten free peanut butter cookies (which are awesome)
-going to the waterway, H.E.B, Market Street, Old Town Spring, the Burch's amazing Halloween Party
-having lazy mornings at home.
Thanks for coming and having face to face girl talk instead of only on facetime.

Baby items we LOVE
There are a few items we have that we don't think we can live without- or shall we say Ada may not be able to live without. The sling pictured above is not quite one of those things- yet, but a friend of ours is letting us borrow it, so we shall see for the future.
Here are our favorite baby things:
1. Exercise ball- This is an instant method for calming her- and us- when she is sad. Within one bounce she is silent and within a few more bounces is ASLEEP! We bought this at target for $12 for pregnancy workouts. It's worth= PRICELESS
2. Blue bouncy seat. This bouncy chair also vibrates and is the only chair she likes to sit in. This is the only way I can shower every day- and she loves it! This was given to us for free by a friend, it's worth=PRICELESS
3. Pack-n-play that is not your average pack-n-play. It has a changing table and bassinet attached. It also has a diaper and wipes holder on the side. I can look over from my bed and see her sweet little face and know she is just fine. This was also given to us by a friend (with a matching car seat and stroller) it's worth=PRICELESS
4. Yellow bath sponge. We just lay this in the tub and fill up the bathtub up a bit and she lays on the sponge. She loves her bath time and a special treat is when Ben and I both bathe her and then one of us uses the blowdryer on her while she gets dressed. This was given to us by one of Ben's students last year, it's worth- you guessed it= PRICELESS
5. Boudreaux's Butt Paste diaper rash ointment. Luckily she hasn't had diaper rash- but rather a red bum a few times (which may be called diaper rash... ;) and this paste works wonders!!!

Ada's Blessing
October 9th Ada was blessed by Ben here in Texas. We LOVED having family in town for the special occasion. Ben's dad came down from Iowa, his sister came down from Minnesota and my parents came from California. The only thing we wish we had is family around us ALL the time. If we could pick up our house, bring our friends and take Ben's job with us- we would live closer to family in a heart beat. We had a great time all weekend and we know Ada LOVED being held by her sweet grandparents and auntie Janna.
